Every box attempt, newest first. Tap any image for full size.
Box height cut from 44 mm to 34 mm (the minimum that still clears the bottle lying flat, with velvet under it and lid clearance). Around the window: the label's own Art Nouveau frame (taken from the Nº02 emboss plate vector), embossed + gold foil, split by the flap seam. Inside the wrap: one gold-foil illustration, Aphrodite rising from the waves on the left, a peacock among lilies on the right, mapped into the 3D model so it is identical in every shot. No gilded edges.
The flat print artwork for the inside of the wrap (one file, used in every shot), then close-ups.
Same structure and dimensions, upgrades drawn from Diptyque (storybook interiors, the oval as a framed medallion) and high-end coffrets. S1 gilded edges · S2 framed medallion (embossed gold Art Nouveau frame around the window) · S3 secret-garden interior (gold Mucha-style Aphrodite illustration on every inside surface, revealed on opening) · S4 ribbon ceremony (grosgrain lift ribbon, pull tab, monogram card) · S5 sunburst (gloss-black rays with gold rays from the window) · S6 brass jewel (solid brass window bezel + AR seal catch) · S7 all-in (S1+S2+S3+S4+S6). S2 and S6 show closed only: their upgrades sit on the outer face, which faces down when the wrap is open.
High-end close-ups and overhead views from the same 3D model: window, side wordmark, embossed gold-foil label, cap in velvet, white lid corner with seam, back panel; overhead closed and opened layouts.
Final pass of every shot: embossed + polished gold-foil Nº02 label (frame, wordmark and monogram raised), lid seam, wrap falls flat when opened, brighter gold. Built on the 3D model; every shot checked against its render.
Changed only the shots where the side of the closed white box shows (flaps34, hero): a fine seam line now runs all the way around where the lid meets the base, 16 mm below the top. Every other shot is the same as Try 13.
Changed only the two opened shots (flapsopen, flaps34): once the magnets are released, the whole wrap falls open flat on the table, both side walls and both flaps, with the white box standing on the centre panel. Every other shot is the same as Try 12.
Gold-foil APHROLI wordmark + "Nº02 · eau de parfum" on both side walls; back panel with monogram, wordmark, small type, text block and barcode (text is placeholder); front stays clean so the label in the window is the branding; gold monogram inside the lid. Released flaps swing over and hang down the outside of the sides; once the box is lifted out, the empty wrap falls flat.
Wrap has no end walls: the magnetic flaps clamp the white box in place. Gold line runs the full lid length above and below the cut-out. Holes and bottle checked against the 3D render in every shot.
Gold line down the white lid (shows through the closed seam). The wrap has closed end walls: the box cannot slide out, it only lifts out once the magnetic flaps open. Lid-off scene: empty open wrap, base with the bottle, lid beside it. Flat wrap shows its fold creases.
Window centred on the box. White lid and white outer base shell are the same outer size and close flush; the black inner neck rises above the base shell and the lid slides over it. Built on one exact 3D model.
First 3D-model version with the real bottle shape.
Rejected: shots inconsistent (holes too small, sizes drift, pieces missing).
Liked the idea.
Hated.
Drawer (A) and lift-off lid (C) were OK.
Not wowed; liked the sunken black interior.
Disliked the filigree.
Good concept; first box built the way Diptyque opens.
