Print Files for the Five Organic Oils
Alex, this is the updated set with everything from your review fixed. Five oils, three designs: fifteen carton files on the printer's own 1 oz die, plus a matching bottle label for each. Grab it all in one download, or take one design or one file at a time.

What Changed Since Your Review
- Frankincense replaces Sweet OrangeIn all three designs, with the same gold foil as the others. Lineup: Lavender, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Cedarwood, Frankincense. Cedarwood stays.
- 30 mL on every fileThe net line now reads NET 1 FL OZ (30 mL) on all 15 cartons, front and back, and on every label. OCR confirms no 29.5 is left anywhere.
- Design B resolutionYou were right: the front carried only about 270 ppi of real detail. Each front painting is now rebuilt from a 4x AI upscale (Real-ESRGAN) of the approved art and placed at 356 ppi. Sides and back are 356 ppi from their source.
- Eucalyptus blueNew CMYK builds that hold the blue better: A ground C100 M88 Y0 K0, B ink C100 M88 Y0 K34, C ink C100 M88 Y0 K30. They beat the old values under SWOP, Japan Color 2011, FOGRA39 and GRACoL 2013. It still prints a little calmer than the screen. For the exact screen blue, use a Pantone spot.
- Bottle labels addedA 3 x 1.5 in wrap label for every oil and design (WB's current 1 oz label size), built from the same artwork as its carton.
- Box sizeConfirmed: 38 x 38 x 108 mm, the box for bottles with standard caps (Alex, Oct 26). No change needed.
What You Are Getting
- The print file is the
PRINT.pdffor each oil. One page, vector, all type outlined, CMYK, 3 mm bleed, with the printer's dieline as a named spot that does not print. - The printer pack is a 2-page reference sheet. Page 1 is the artwork on the die with every size marked on the box. Page 2 shows the plates: the foil layer for A, the vector layer for B, the ink layer for C. It is for reading, not for printing.
- The QA report lists every automated check run on that file.
- Design A also has two foil files: a gold hot-stamp overlay and a standalone foil plate, for the die maker.
- The bottle label is its own PDF per oil: 76.2 x 38.1 mm (3 x 1.5 in), rounded corners, 1/8 in bleed, with a safe-area guide and the visible-front zone marked on non-printing layers.
Large files, so use wifi. Each design's zip holds all five oils with their packs, QA reports and previews.
Foil Sprig
One flat colour per oil, a cream flower pattern on the side panels and a hot-stamp foil sprig on the front. Foil is a named spot plate (Foil_Gold on all five) plus an optional matching emboss plate. Bottle label: gold foil on clear film.
43 automated checks per file, every one passing.

What Was Checked
- Automated checksEvery carton passes its own list (A 43 checks, B 44, C 39): page and trim boxes, dieline match, no fonts, no RGB, ink limit, the seal against the official artwork, text read back by OCR (including the new 30 mL line), and a match to the approved art. Every label passes 14 to 14 more: size, bleed, safe area, plates, OCR and the seal.
- Final gateAll 30 files (15 cartons and 15 labels) were re-checked as a set after the last change, and the published copies are byte-identical to the checked files.
- The printer packsAll 15 open at 2 pages with no render errors, and each was rebuilt after the last art change.
- By eyeSeals, spacing around the net-contents line and the end of every front tagline were looked at on each panel.
This is our own checking, not an Acrobat or Esko preflight. Run theirs on arrival.
Still Open Before A Press Run
Certifier line
The back panels say "Certified organic by OneCert". That is a placeholder. The real certifier has to be confirmed. Trader Joe's own argan oil carton names a different one.
Back-panel copy
How to use, cautions, ingredients and origin are drafts and need sign-off.
Barcode and lot
Both are blank white windows on the flaps, ready for the real code.
Label size
The labels use WB's current 1 oz roll size, 3 x 1.5 in (Lightning Labels, July). The corner radius and the exact size need a yes from Gillian or Joe before print.
Colour and fonts
The Eucalyptus blue is still slightly outside CMYK. Ask for a Pantone spot if the exact screen blue matters. Fonts are close look-alikes, not Trader Joe's own.
Frankincense art
New in all three designs, made in the same system as the approved four. Worth a look before the samples are made.
Proof first
Ask the printer for a proof before committing to a run.
NOTE: Nothing on this page has been sent to a printer or to Trader Joe's.
