# Does Obvi put CTA buttons in their creative? No.

Checked 2026-09-18 two ways.

**1. Our stored set — all 70 Obvi ads.** Built a contact sheet of the bottom 38% of every ad (where a
button would sit). Across all 70 the bottom carries proof and chrome, never a shopping button:
- "200,000+ SATISFIED CUSTOMERS" / "4,000+ 5 STAR REVIEWS" / "1500+ 5 STAR REVIEWS"
- "30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee" with a thumbs-up glyph
- spec rows — 10G COLLAGEN · 40 CALORIES · 0 SUGAR · 0 CARBS
- press logos — BYRDIE, VOGUE, BuzzFeed, CBS
- the only pill-shaped devices are labels, not buttons: H19 "Eat, Drink, Bake" (a usage line) and
O39's "REGROW NEW HAIR?" / "REPAIR DAMAGED HAIR?" (the two halves of a would-you-rather).
**Zero** "Shop now", "Get 50% off", or arrow pills. 0 of 70.

**2. Meta Ad Library, live, US, active.** 56 active results across the Obvi / Obvi Health pages. Every
one carries its offer in `ad_creative_link_title` — the HEADLINE FIELD under the image, rendered by
Meta — not burned into the creative: "Special Offer Available Today! 🎁", "Limited Time Offer Available
Now! 🎁", "Limited Time Offer Today Only! ⏳", "Click Learn More To See How This Collagen-Infused Fat
Burner Works!".

**Conclusion.** The operator is right. Obvi never draws its own button; the click comes from Meta's CTA
bar under the creative, and the offer lives in the headline field. The in-image button we had been
drawing since v27 is ours, not theirs — it costs frame, it is the heaviest object in our layouts, and
it has no counterpart in the reference brand.

**Consequence for the plates.** Dropping the button frees the bottom of the frame, which is what lets a
plate be a full composed scene instead of a product stranded between two empty colour bands. Bottom
furniture becomes Obvi's: a proof line, a guarantee with a thumb, or a spec row.

Note: no GetHooked MCP is connected to this session. Evidence above is our own 70-ad capture plus Meta's
Ad Library search. Foreplay is connected but was out of credits.
