# Wonder v6 — candid photography and copy review

The operator rejected v5’s synthetic beauty-campaign appearance and asked for photographs closer to the ordinary customer images already found in Foreplay, plus an honest assessment of the copy presentation.

My assessment: v5 was over-art-directed. Matching flattering light, sculpted hair, the limestone product display, coordinated colors and the centered editorial headline reinforced a commercial rendering. Its many text levels—headline, disclaimer, two comparison labels, product name, two benefit lines and CTA—also distracted from inspecting the hair. The previous passing geometry and contrast checks did not establish that it looked authentic.

W61 changes the image formation: ordinary household light, visible pores and fine lines, casual faded shirts, backgrounds with towels and coats, less symmetrical framing, and naturally irregular hair with flyaways. The same fictional woman appears with different clothes, pose and expression. No product bottle is shown. Both pictures remain AI illustrations, not customer evidence. The photographs are more casual than v5 but the paired construction still feels intentional; producer review does not claim they are indistinguishable from actual UGC.

Copy decision: retain “Missing your long hair?” because it names the desire directly. Use a bold everyday sans-serif with blue emphasis, placed over the existing wall. Remove the decorative italic treatment, the SHORT/LONG labels, the generic “Care for the scalp / Nourish the lengths” block and the image CTA. A small brand/ingredient credit is the only lower text. No opaque banners. Keep the AI-illustration disclosure visible. The actual Meta caption and button can carry explanation and action when an ad is built.

Suggested primary text: Growing it out can feel frustrating when the ends look worn out. Wonder’s pure batana oil brings rich botanical nourishment to scalp-and-lengths care. Explore the oil and how to use it. Images illustrate two hair looks; they are not product results.

Suggested headline: Batana care for dry lengths. Suggested button: Learn More. No platform objects created.

Research in this turn: re-opened the existing full-size G07 and G03 competitor images from v5’s Foreplay pull. No new discovery pull or fresh performance evidence. These examples show casual crop, uneven photographic quality and dense review-style copy. We borrow the photographic texture and simpler hierarchy, not their names, ratings, verification marks, testimonials or treatment claims. The broader v4 and focused v5 research remain linked from the review.

Formats: selected original portrait is 1086×1448, finished proportionally at 1080×1440 (3:4 composition study, NOT a 4:5 placement master). A second attempt also missed 4:5 and is preserved unselected. Story is independently generated 941×1672, finished 1080×1920 within source-pixel rounding. Nothing is cropped, stretched into a different ratio or padded. The requested improvement is ready to review; a native 4:5 asset remains outstanding before a paired placement launch package.

Built-in imagegen was used. Prompts and complete selected/unselected lineage are included. Producer review only, no additional thread/agent or independent blind score. Prior versions remain immutable. No Meta, Shopify or production action.
