Nothing was lost
495 plate files across 60 revisions reduce to 205 unique photographs, all still on disk. They are grouped below by the revision that first produced each one — later revisions inherited plates by symlink, which is why the same picture appears in many folders.
The five in v43 came from 2026-09-18-v37r2's public folder, which is a symlink chain
back to 2026-09-17-v37 — ten plates out of two hundred and five. That was the mistake
behind "where did the other pictures go": a new revision inherited whatever the previous fork
happened to point at, instead of the set being chosen.
The revisions that were approved or liked: obvi-match-v21 (14 plates),
v38 (20), v36 (20, "better for that"). Those are all here.
