The next 4 products CHL should launch
Scored on 23 candidates: brand fit, Meta crowding, Amazon demand, margin, customer pain, and risk. Research only; nothing was changed in Meta or Shopify.
L-Methylfolate 15 mg + Methyl-B12
- B12 comes up in 59% of 682 methylfolate Reddit posts.
- Seeking Health's methylfolate + B12 has ~8× the reviews of its methylfolate-only product.
- The longest-running methylfolate ads (Triquetra 175 days, Neupril 110) both sell 15 mg + B12. Amazon has only one 15 mg + B12 combo.
- B12 adds about $0.25 a bottle. Still one tiny capsule with glycine; no fillers.
"Still dragging by 3 PM on methylfolate? Folate without B12 is half the switch."
"Before I knew I had MTHFR, I gave myself B12 shots and was still tired." (Seeking Health review)
Risk: it competes with the 15 mg hero, so decide whether it replaces it or sits beside it. B12 is light-sensitive and needs an amber or opaque bottle.Saffron (affron 28 mg, standardised)
- Talks straight to CHL's best-selling buyer: someone whose antidepressant went flat.
- Amazon is mostly cheap unbranded powder at the wrong dose. Thorne's new $45 saffron already sells 3K+/month on 49 reviews, so the clinical brands are only arriving now.
- On Meta only BrainMD runs it as a hero product (183 days).
- One tiny capsule. Clean story: a standardised clinical extract vs saffron powder cut with dyed corn silk and turmeric.
"Your antidepressant took the sadness, and your sex drive and your tears with it."
"My libido was numbed on sertraline, my emotions none existent." (r/antidepressants)
Risk: buy branded affron only, with lab proof, because saffron is often faked. The mood copy follows the same Meta rule CHL already writes around.Magnesium L-Threonate
- Amazon page 1 sells ~146K/month. Searches ~135K/month, up 640% in 5 years.
- Replaces our draft Magnesium Glycinate. Glycinate is the most crowded lane we measured (13,294 active ads, 2,600+ brands). Threonate sits at 3/5.
- Story: cheap magnesium vs the one form studied for the brain. MTHFR posters say glycinate wakes them at 3 AM.
- Margin only works as a 30-day bottle at ~$59.99 (~75–88%). At $50.99 for 60 days it's 48%.
"2:47 AM. Wide awake, replaying a conversation from 2019."
"I don't wake up at 2 am with my mind racing." (threonate buyer review)
Risk: 3 capsules a day breaks the "one tiny capsule" story, and a filler-free fill is unproven. Needs a factory trial and a Magtein quote.Low-dose L-Methylfolate (7.5 mg / 1 mg)
- 28% of methylfolate posts describe feeling wired, sleepless or headachy, and 12% talk about lowering the dose.
- 7.5 mg sells ~15K/month on Amazon page 1. Thorne's 1 mg alone sells 10K+/month.
- Also keeps 15 mg subscribers who would quit over side effects.
"15 mg made you wired and wide awake at 2 AM? It wasn't the wrong supplement. It was the wrong dose."
"I got prescribed 7.5 mg L methylfolate … it gave me a pounding headache, pressure behind the eyes." (r/MTHFR)
Launch order
- Now: #1 and #4. Same factory, same label system, same buyer, same ad account.
- Next: #2, once affron supply and a certificate of analysis are in.
- Then: #3, after a factory fill trial and a Magtein quote.
- #1, #2 and #4 at $50.99 per 2 months keep today's money line (target CPA $67.99). #3 at ~$59.99 a month leaves more room.
Runner-up and drops
How sure we are
- Branded-ingredient prices (affron, Magtein) are estimates. No supplier quotes were requested.
- Google Trends was blocked, so search growth comes from Exploding Topics instead.
- Big-subreddit and Amazon-review pulls were blocked. Saffron's pain score rests on a few first-person quotes.
- Meta counts include any ad that mentions the ingredient, not only ads selling it as the hero.
