The music bed

Rewritten to the actual reference. Mark Mothersbaugh’s campaign cue is bouncy and whimsical, so this is a 132bpm skipping marimba-and-pluck figure over I–V–vi–IV with a light shaker — not the slow ambient pad I had before. Side-chain ducked. Nothing to licence.

What changed in V4

I went and read up on the actual campaign instead of guessing. The real spots are 30 seconds, one plain-white locked shot, and the dialogue is relentless — short lines landing on each other with almost no silence, PC getting more anxious while Mac stays dry.

So V4 is two 15-second continuous takes instead of four short ones, with roughly 17 short lines in 30 seconds. Dead air went from 11.3s down to 3.8s.

Kling's native audio is back. You were right — voice_change was what flattened everything into monotone. The native performance has actual tone: the yellow one's voice climbs and cracks as he gets defensive, the teal one stays low and dry.

New music. Bouncy 132bpm marimba-and-pluck, not the ambient pad.

The script

WhoLine
FOLICHi, I’m folic acid.
L-METHYLAnd I’m L-Methylfolate.
FOLICI’m in her multivitamin. Six years running.
L-METHYLShe bought it to stop feeling foggy at two in the afternoon.
FOLIC…Right.
L-METHYLDid she?
L-METHYLFolic acid isn’t usable yet. Your body has to convert it first.
L-METHYLAnd a common MTHFR variant slows that down.
FOLIC…So I’ve just been sitting in the hallway.
L-METHYLFor six years.
L-METHYLI’m already active. No conversion. No waiting.
FOLIC…must be nice.

Still honest about this

Kling cannot say "folic acid" reliably. Five attempts produced "full acid", "crag acid" and "F.O.H. Lick Acid" (it read my phonetic hint out loud). The opening line only — 2.6 seconds — is an ElevenLabs drop-in. Every other word in the ad is Kling's own performance.

"L-Methylfolate" is shortened to "methylfolate" in speech, because the L- prefix is what breaks it. The full name is on the end card.

MTHFR is now taught on screen, not spoken. The model garbles it every time, and a muted viewer reads it anyway — so it punches in as type on "By the enzyme!".

Kling reorders lines in long takes. Two takes had their punchline swapped and had to be regenerated. This is a real ceiling on 15-second dense dialogue.

Claim discipline

The pain is worded as a purchase motivation, never a medical claim. “She bought it to stop feeling foggy” describes why someone buys; “Did she?” asserts nothing. The only factual claims are mechanical: folic acid must be converted, a common MTHFR variant slows conversion, L-methylfolate is already 5-MTHF. Never stated: that folic acid causes fog, that variants cause fog, or that this product resolves fog. Folic acid is never called unsafe. FDA disclaimer on the card.
