NAD+ and Saffron, run through the October L-Methylfolate judge panel

The pages as staged now (not live). Same panel as the L-Methylfolate page: five whole-page judges, plus copy judges on Sonnet 4.6, Sonnet 5.5 and GPT-6 Astra through Codex. 17 runs, no failures.

Whole page, five fresh judges, same 12-page field

NAD+7.24.6th of 12
Saffron7.26th of 12
L-Methylfolate8.42nd of 12

Two days ago the same panel gave NAD+ 7.7, Saffron 7.7 and L-Methylfolate 8.3. The new pages moved down 0.5 and L-Methylfolate stayed put. Run to run, a page moves about 0.5 on its own, so this is a small dip, not proof anything got worse.

Where the gap to L-Methylfolate is (section scores, NAD+ / Saffron / L-Methylfolate)

Customer proof and reviews4 / 4 / 8.8

FAQ and support6.8 / 6.8 / 7.4
Footer7.0 / 7.0 / 7.0

Almost the whole gap is one thing: the new products have no customer reviews. All ten judges named it as the weakest part. Everything else is within about a point of L-Methylfolate, and the doctors and studies section scores a little higher than L-Methylfolate's.

The fair test: L-Methylfolate with its customer proof removed

You said to match or beat L-Methylfolate on everything that is not reviews. So I judged a judge-only copy of L-Methylfolate with every review element hidden (hero rating, buy-box quote, customer videos, reviews section, timeline quotes), against the two new pages as they are staged now. Ten fresh judges, same 12-page field, never shipped.

Result: both pages match or beat L-Methylfolate on every non-review measure, except two tenths on Saffron. Saffron's buy box is 8.0 against 8.1 and its looks are 7.9 against 8.0, both inside the run-to-run noise. Judges tie both to the same thing: the dark brown sections read heavy next to the green and navy pages.

The earlier gaps (clarity, buy box, first screen) were mostly the judges crediting L-Methylfolate's reviews in those same places. With real reviews in the box and hero those scores should follow.

If the reviews were as strong as L-Methylfolate's

This is an estimate, not a new judge run. I took the 1,329 section scores the same judges gave 45 pages over October and measured how much a page's overall score moves with its customer-proof score while its other sections stay the same. One proof point is worth about 0.33 overall. Giving NAD+ and Saffron L-Methylfolate's proof score (8.6 instead of 4) adds about 1.5 points. The low end of each range assumes the judges would also keep their other scores where the model expects them.

With the proof section left out entirely, the other nine sections average 7.7 for NAD+, 7.6 for Saffron and 8.0 for L-Methylfolate. So the real gap on everything we can change today is about 0.3 to 0.4, not 1.2.

Reviews that do not exist cannot be added. This only shows how much of the gap they explain: nearly all of it.

After the fixes (same panel again, 17 more runs)

I fixed what the judges flagged that needed no reviews: NAD+ now says what NAD+ is on the first screen and stops repeating the brain-scan fact; Saffron stops repeating "202 adults", the "Drive" card says who the trials were on, and the sexual-function studies moved to the end; Saffron has a new FAQ "Can I take it with my antidepressant?"; both FAQs gained "Why is the first bottle free?".

Doctors and studies (NAD+)8.0 to 7.2
Other nine sections, average vs L-Methylfolate 8.07.7 / 7.6 to 7.8 / 7.9

The overall score did not move (a page swings about 0.5 run to run), but both pages now rank 3.8th of 12 instead of 4.6th and 6th, and the gap on everything except reviews shrank from 0.3 and 0.4 to 0.2 and 0.1. Copy judges: NAD+ reads human 8, 8, 7 (before 8, 7, 7) with the Sonnet 5.5 flag count falling from 41 to 17; Saffron 7, 8, 8; Saffron copy-chief average 5.5 to 6.3.

One thing went the wrong way: NAD+ doctors and studies dropped from 8.0 to 7.2. It may be noise, or the brain-scan line I removed from the compare block was doing some of that work. I left it.

Still weak on every page: reviews (4, nothing to add), and bold framing on Saffron ("as well as Prozac") that judges call risky. You told me never to soften claims, so I did not touch it.

Does the copy read like a person wrote it? (blind, against Nutrafol)

NAD+8 vs 3, 7 vs 3, 7 vs 4
Saffron8 vs 3, 8 vs 2, 8 vs 4

Order: Sonnet 4.6, Sonnet 5.5, GPT-6 Astra. Higher means more human. Ours beat Nutrafol on all six reads, like L-Methylfolate did on October 5 (ours 6.8 vs Nutrafol 3).

The copy-chief review (overall / sounds human, out of 10)

NAD+5 / 4, 6 / 5, 5 / 6
Saffron5 / 6, 6 / 4.5, 5.5 / 6

The same drill on L-Methylfolate on October 5 gave overall 4.5 to 7 and sounds-human 5 to 6, so these are in the same range.

What the copy judges agreed on

Nothing was changed on the pages because of these scores. They are a read, not an instruction.
