# What the rendered pages actually show

These observations concern browser screenshots captured on 13 September 2026 at 390-pixel mobile and 1440-pixel desktop widths. They are visual judgments, not conversion rankings. The accompanying gallery uses selected readable frames; capture receipts retain URLs, redirects, and access limitations. A source being recommended online did not automatically qualify its current page as a good reference.

## Graza — a recognizable product world beyond the hero

[Sizzle product page](https://www.graza.co/products/sizzle)

The opening mobile image gives the squeeze bottle real scale on a stone counter. Its illustrated label, cream background, dark green ink, distinctive type, and bright purchase control feel related. Further down on desktop, the Drizzle/Sizzle comparison uses characters, cooking roles, and a small olive motif to explain the two products. The page develops the identity already on the bottle instead of resetting to a generic feature grid.

The useful lesson is continuity between packaging and explanation. CHL should derive its recurring visual language from its own bottle, capsule, label, and existing green palette. Graza's characters, lime color, and typography belong to Graza.

This is not an unqualified mobile recommendation. The inspected middle includes substantial text and an oversized empty interval before a bundle panel. Personality does not make every part of its scroll efficient.

## Bellroy — demonstrate the property people need to understand

[Hide & Seek product page](https://bellroy.com/products/hide-and-seek-wallet)

The useful mobile sequence compares leather at Day 1 and Day 1000, then shows a hand taking the wallet from a coat. Material aging and everyday use become visible. This is more informative than another headline claiming quality.

For CHL, the equivalent is a truthful demonstration of capsule scale, the actual label, and how the existing product fits into a routine. It is not a supplement before-and-after outcome claim. The image should answer a specific question that prose alone currently makes laborious.

The initial desktop opening failed to render the product area. Final native-dismissal captures display the material comparison clearly on both devices without the cookie strip. The desktop's adjacent YouTube tile remains blank; an earlier frame displayed a bot-check message. These are observations of successful static demonstrations, not a clean bill of health for the whole page or its video experience.

Selected evidence: `captures/bellroy-native-mobile390-feature.png` and `captures/bellroy-native-desktop1440-feature-clean.png`, explicitly labeled with those limitations. The earlier file named `bellroy-clean-desktop1440-opening.png` actually depicts a lower-page arrangement of the wallet's contents; its filename is not evidence that it is the opening viewport.

## Who Gives A Crap — familiar buying, memorable identity

[Recycled toilet paper product page](https://us.whogivesacrap.org/products/100-recycled-toilet-paper-jumbo-rolls)

The opening mobile page is unmistakable because the playful lettering on the box, colorful wrappers, product title, and blue controls belong together. Desktop still uses a familiar product-image-and-purchase-column arrangement. Its individuality does not depend on making buying unfamiliar.

The inspected desktop middle keeps the actual package visible beside concise overview points, optional detail, short demonstrations, and a specific certification panel. Information and evidence are close to the thing being evaluated. That proximity is a stronger lesson than copying the color scheme or adding more videos to an unrelated strip.

The mobile impact panel also shows a limitation: a long gap follows recommendations before the donation story. CHL should not inherit every section or every spacer from a lively brand. Any certification or impact claim here belongs to this seller, not to CHL.

## Great Jones — coherent identity, but not the whole answer

[The Dutchess product page](https://greatjonesgoods.com/products/the-dutchess?variant=23364054188090)

After dismissing the newsletter through its visible control, the mobile opening shows a large white pot against warm cream, expressive brand lettering, a restrained product title, and shipping/trial reassurance. The product and palette have room to establish a mood. Desktop keeps the large object visible while details and related products occupy the adjacent column.

However, the inspected current page is quieter and more conventional than its historical brand case study might suggest. Mobile later becomes stacked upsells, specifications, and accordions. It is a useful example of consistency and tangible product scale; it is not sufficient inspiration for the richer journey CHL needs. The report deliberately separates the original identity work from this current storefront observation.

## IM8 — useful early evidence, substantial density costs

[Daily Ultimate Essentials PRO product page, captured variant](https://im8health.com/products/essentials-pro?variant=47876668063911&selling_plan=2948432039)

The mobile opening puts a detailed welcome-kit image, multiple gallery choices, a label thumbnail, review information, and purchase access close together. A shopper has several ways to inspect what is being offered early. Its burgundy identity continues into later content.

It also illustrates what not to reproduce. The mobile opening competes with several persistent controls; the inspected desktop middle contains a long formula comparison table. A captured mobile proof frame had blank UGC media areas, so it is not evidence of successfully displayed customer video. More content and more persistent controls are not automatically a better human experience.

CHL can adopt the principle of early inspectability while using fewer competing elements. A genuine review beside its subject and a clearly accessible full label are more useful than a dense collection of badges and statistics.

## References that did not pass the initial capture check

The requested Opal Tadpole route led to a company letter dated June 2026 rather than a current camera PDP. It cannot substantiate a claim about today's Tadpole buying journey. Vacation did not provide a usable PDP capture in this pass. Frank body and Rains captures remained obscured by region, newsletter, or consent dialogs despite attempted native dismissal. SPYLT's public route led to a password gate. These attempts do not support current-page aesthetic judgments. Access failures are recorded rather than silently treated as completed inspection.

## What this changes for CHL

The recurring problem is not the existence of rectangles. It is that too many CHL sections give the eye the same task: read a heading, scan a paragraph, inspect another isolated panel. The visual subject rarely carries the explanation into the next moment.

Build the next mobile concept around a connected progression of existing material: a believable daily scene, the capsule at human scale, the real formula and label, relevant customer evidence, and a clear purchase choice. Combine repeated routine content. Let a few images carry more meaning and use shorter supporting text. Establish the same visual language in the middle of the page as in its opening. That is the original CHL direction supported by these references; no competitor's page should become its template.
